What you need

• A laptop or PC with Windows 10 or 11, switched on during the hours you want it to work
• Google Chrome
• Your LinkedIn account, and accounts on the job sites you want searched
• A Gmail address to send referral emails from

Install in five steps

1. Download and open the installer

   Open the file you downloaded. It is called GetReferral Setup.

2. If Windows shows a blue warning

   Windows shows “Windows protected your PC” for apps it has not seen often yet. ClickMore info, then Run anyway.

   This message is about how new the app is, not about anything wrong with it. It goes away as more people install GetReferral.

3. Install

   Choose where to install it (the suggested folder is fine) and click Install. GetReferral opens when it is done.

4. Create your account

   Sign up with your email. Your 7-day free trial starts right away, with every feature.

5. Tell it about your job search

   Pick your role and experience, add a Gmail app password so it can send emails as you, and sign in to LinkedIn and your job sites in the agent's Chrome window. The app walks you through each step.
